เจ้ายิม กล่าวถึงความรู้สึกว่า “ดีใจที่มีโอกาสได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของทีม ASEAN All-Stars ครับ รู้สึกตื่นเต้น เพราะแมนยูก็เป็นทีมที่อยู่ในระดับพรีเมียร์ลีก มีผู้เล่นที่มีคุณภาพ” พร้อมทั้งยังขอบคุณสำหรับโอกาสและประสบการณ์ในครั้งนี้
ถึงแม้เจ้าตัวจะเป็นแฟนบอลตัวยงของ อาร์เซนอล วรชิต ยังเผยถึงนักเตะ แมนเชสเตอร์ ยูไนเต็ด ที่ชื่นชอบว่าคือ คริสเตียน อีริคเซน เพราะมีตำแหน่งที่ใกล้เคียงกัน ติดตามตั้งแต่อยู่สเปอร์ส รวมถึงอยากเรียนรู้ว่าระดับโลกเล่นฟุตบอลอย่างไร
หากมองย้อนกลับไปในปี 2013 ทีมสิงห์ ออลสตาร์ จากประเทศไทยเคยสร้างประวัติศาสตร์เอาชนะ แมนเชสเตอร์ ยูไนเต็ด มาแล้วด้วยสกอร์ 1-0 ซึ่งเจ้ายิมเองมองว่า “เราเองก็หวังผลที่จะชนะเหมือนกันครับ ในทุกๆการลงสนามเราอยากชนะทุกเกม” วรชิต ยังเสริมว่า “ถึงแม้เราจะมาจากต่างสโมสรกัน เชื่อว่าทุกคนจะทำหน้าที่อย่างดีที่สุด”
“ผมจะทำผลงานและแสดงศักยภาพตัวเองอย่างเต็มที่ พร้อมเก็บเกี่ยวประสบการณ์ในสนามให้ได้มากที่สุด เพื่อนำมาใช้ในทีมชาติไทยและทีมการท่าเรือของเราต่อไปครับ ฝากแฟนบอลชาวไทยและแฟนๆท่าเรือเป็นกำลังใจให้พวกเราด้วยครับ” วรชิต กล่าวปิดท้าย

PORT UPDATE : “Yim” Worachit expresses anticipation and gratitude for the opportunity to face Manchester United.
Worachit Kanitsribumphen, Port FC midfielder, revealed his excitement and ambitions toward a special friendly game against Manchester United.
“Yim” admitted, “I’m thankful to be part of the ASEAN All-Stars. I’m also delighted, as Manchester United is a Premier League team with a high-quality squad.”
Although Yim is a huge fan of Arsenal, he praised Christian Eriksen as one of his favorite players, noting that they play in similar positions. Worachit has followed Eriksen’s performances since his time at Tottenham Hotspur and hopes to use this opportunity to learn from him.
Back in 2013, the Thai side, Singha All-Stars made history by defeating Manchester United 1-0. Reflecting on that moment, Worachit expressed his desire to achieve a similar result, emphasizing that he steps onto the pitch with the ambition to win every game. “Although the players are from different teams, we will do our best to win the game.” said Worachit
“I will do my best and make the most of this game to improve myself and perform better for the Thailand national team and Port F.C. I hope our fans will give us strong support ahead of the game against Manchester United.” Worachit added.
Apart from Worachit Kanitsribumphen, Irfan Fandi will also join the ASEAN All-Stars in preparation for the special post-season friendly match against the Premier League side, Manchester United, at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 28 May 2025.
