“การได้ร่วมฝึกซ้อมกับผู้เล่นที่มีคุณภาพทั่วอาเซียน เป็นบรรยากาศที่ยอดเยี่ยม ซึ่งมันช่วยเพิ่มแรงจูงใจให้อยากทำผลงานให้ดี” อิรฟานกล่าวถึงบรรยากาศการฝึกซ้อม
ก่อนเกมเจ้าตัวมองเกมกับ แมนฯ ยูไนเต็ด ว่า “เป็นเกมที่ยากเนื่องจากพวกเขาคือหนึ่งในทีมที่ดีที่สุดของโลก มีวิธีการเล่นที่แข็งแกร่ง อย่างไรก็ตาม นี่จะเป็นโอกาสที่ดีในการพิสูจน์คุณภาพของนักเตะจากอาเซียน ว่าพวกเราทำได้ดีแค่ไหนในฟุตบอลระดับสูง”
นอกจากนี้กองหลังกจาก “สิงห์เจ้าท่า” ยังกล่าวทิ้งท้ายว่า “การได้เป็นตัวแทน อาเซียน ออลสตาร์ มันมีความหมายกับผมมาก ผมจะทำให้ดีที่สุดเพื่อให้แฟนบอลการท่าเรือ เอฟ.ซี. และชาวสิงคโปร์ภูมิใจ”

PORT UPDATE : “ I want to make Singapore and Port F.C. proud,” said Irfan, setting his sights on representing the ASEAN All-Stars as they take on Manchester United.
27 year-old Singaporean Irfan Fandi of Port F.C. shared his thoughts on the training atmosphere with his ASEAN teammates and his expectations for the upcoming match.
Before the match, Irfan acknowledged the challenge of facing Manchester United, saying: “Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world. They have world-class talent and a strong playing style, so we know it will be a tough match. But at the same time, it’s a great opportunity to test ourselves and show that ASEAN players can compete on a high level.”
“Representing the ASEAN All-Stars means a lot to me. I’ll give it my all to make Port F.C. fans and Singapore proud.” Irfan Fandi added.
